As we wrap up 2024, I want to thank everyone who has been part of the Values First Planning family. We have the honor to work with about 100 of the best families around. It has been a joy to help you through the challenges and opportunities that 2024 has offered up. No one knows what all 2025 will bring – but I know we will face it together and we will always focus on your Values First.
One thing I am excited to share is that Meredith Woodbridge has passed her CFP® exam! And as soon as the board confers her official marks, will be available to take on bigger challenges with us. I can confirm that she is deeply relieved, after 18 months of study, to have that experience behind her.
Meredith has been with us for almost five years now. She has done an amazing job learning the business from the operations side, then becoming a paraplanner, and now a new financial planner.
As we all take some time over the holidays to reflect on the year, I want to give you two basic questions to ponder as you slow down and spend time with family and friends:
- What do we want more of? Look back at the moments of last year and ask what brought you joy or contentment. What would it look like to deliberately add more of that to your life this next year.
- What do you want less of? Try to find the places of wasted time, energy, and resources. Look at things that would free up space to make room for a better life.
These questions make great conversation on a date or over the dinner table with family! It only takes a little curiosity and communication to change the way we face our future.
Merry Christmas from all of us at Values First Planning. We are looking forward to the road ahead with all of you!
