What's In a Name?

Beginning January 1, 2020, we will begin to brand our practice under the new DBA (doing business as) name of Values First Planning. As you may have noticed, we already use that name for our website.  This name change exemplifies what we do.  It makes sense to use that same name in every part of our practice.

We have chosen to make this change now to coordinate with another name change.  360 Wealth Management LLC, the group based out of Dallas that serves as my Registered Investment Advisor providing back office compliance and operations support for my business, will be changing its name to Advisor Resource Council (ARC) effective January 1, 2020. 360 Wealth Management is changing its name to better serve financial advisors and will continue to support other independent advisors like me.

Neither of these name changes will have an impact on the way you and I will do business.

For those of you who work with us, you know we hold a deep commitment to understanding what is most important to you and your family.  Our firm’s process is simple.  First, we help our families identify the things that are more important to them than money.  Then we help them manage their resources in ways that are in alignment with the things they value most.

If you don’t know what’s most important or if you don’t know what you are really trying to accomplish, your valuable resources can be wasted on things that don’t really matter.  Putting your values first in the planning process matters.  It is our commitment to that process that led us to this change.

It may sound simple.  But we have found that identifying your shared, core values as a couple can take time, patience, grace, and a fair amount of work.  If you would like to explore this process with us – Let us help.
